I take a painting in acrylic from start to a finish (I later added lines, but this session was one 60 minute session about.) This was a recording from a twitch stream, so forgive the camera angle. I use Golden Acrylics and several hogs bristle brushes of different sizes (square edged, brights, and one very large fluffy one for the background.) Details were done in a sable/synthetic bristle brush. My palate you see here is just a canvas that, over time, has just been covered in a mountain of acrylic paint (acrylic turns to rock-hard plastic pretty quickly so don't use a fancy palate for this stuff). Maybe one day I'll slowly turn my acrylic mountain palate into a tunnel or something? Hello fellow painters! In this tutorial I will show you how to draw and paint crystals. If you are new to painting and drawing, don't worry. This video is for ALL skill levels! Feel free to paint along with me or create your own crystals! Make sure you send me photos of your own paintings on my social media! What I used: Wood round 4" Liquitex Basics: Dioxazine Purple, Ultramarine Blue, Phthalo. Blue Quinacridone Magenta, Titanium White, and Mar Black My brushes: 0 round 2/0 round 4/0 liner I used Arteza's detail brushes, since this is a tiny painting.
