When afflicted it will be better for him to settle somewhere else where one is less known, in order that he may at least feel more free. Fifth House
Jupiter in 5th House denotes much sociability and satisfaction through children. The native likes to associate with children in a large family. This position makes him fond of physical pleasures and indicates a knack of speculating.
When afflicted, there is a tendency to go in for gambling and lotteries, also a dislike of work and no heart for the care demanded by children. Sixth House
Jupiter in 6th House. This position makes it likely that the native will be richly endowed with Jupiter’s gifts of cheerfulness, popularity, health etc. but his watchword should be help! Even a strongly harmonious aspect is unable to manifest fully, unless the native does what he can to help. All good impulses, kindheartedness, sympathy, charity, unselfishness, and love of work must be utilized and strengthened, so that they may take the place of less favorable tendencies. His deep confidence in God’s goodness should grow, the thoughts being always permeated with that idea, then the words illness and weakness will disappear of their own accord and the inner joy will overcome the desire for lower, unreal pleasures. Good consequences will soon follow if this lesson is learned willingly; if however the helping hand is scorned, the native has no alternative but to learn the lesson in the hard school of experience. The disorders which arise when Jupiter in 6th house is afflicted will be psychic rather than organic and this not so much owing to organic weakness as to the reaction of nervous strain. The native should above all acquire peace and inner harmony – for without these, recovery is impossible. Difficulties with inferiors or pupils will also occur through the native being exacting – sometimes unfair.
Seventh House
Jupiter in 7th House. Religious, social and moral ideas are very pure, and prominent. Thus placed Jupiter usually is a sign of pleasant reciprocity between the native and the world; and especially of a happy marriage. This will probably rise to a higher level than is the case with most marriages, husband (wife) will be inspired with the same ideals as the native, so that both inwardly and outwardly much happiness may result.

Afflictions render marriage troubled through callousness, pride, self-will, wastefulness, in fact conflict between the higher and lower nature according to the planet aspecting inharmoniously. The date for the wedding is often postponed, possibly even put off altogether, owing to doubt as to the partner’s trustworthiness. When and if in the end the couple are married, much trouble will be caused by the partner’s laziness and egoism.

Eighth House
Jupiter in 8th House gives a hopeful confidence in the path of life including the beyond, inclines to believe in Providence, in a great, good Power guiding and regulating everything purposefully and bringing everything to a good end, if only we listen to the voice of our conscience and act accordingly. But is should never be forgotten that earthly daily life and ordinary things all have a claim on us which cannot with impunity be neglected. This position indicates clear dreams, a lively imagination and an interest in occult teachings.
Afflictions make the native skeptical about these things – he can only believe what he himself has experienced.
Jupiter in 8th House gives a possibly of inheritance, legacies, money through insurance etc., but an inharmonious aspect causes much trouble, mainly legal difficulties in really getting them into one’s possession. Relations will probably try to interfere through jealousy or selfishness. Too good a trust is not advisable in suchlike questions.
Ninth House
Jupiter in 9th House has an exceptionally favorable influence on the entire horoscope. The 9th house is most congenial to Jupiter which in this position renders the native extraordinarily fitted for religious and philosophical contemplation, jurisprudence and pedagogy. A trine aspect gives him great interest in each new point arising from the study of these subjects, and screens him from narrow-minded self-conceit; also makes him studious, and gives a liking for teaching.
Jupiter deepens and ennobles the mind and gives zeal for logical argument. That is why this position of Jupiter enables a speaker to contact and charm his audience; thus a missionary can make his ideas acceptable to an undeveloped population, or an educator, will improve and strengthen his pupils’ characters. This kind of work always gives satisfaction and has a beneficent effect on the whole nature. The native’s faith is not of a common kind and does not fall into grooves, but is based on a fervent and somewhat mystical conviction. His religious beliefs, of whatever kind they may be, are always founded on Christianity, the idea of Providence and the Redeemer.

When afflicted Jupiter does not point to a strong position in social life. There is a possibility of slander which might harm the native’s good character. This position therefore requires great prudence in all personal matters, actions and sayings. Reckless action may have fatal consequence, with regard both to health and finances. Intercourse with relatives will probably cause much unpleasantness through mutual misunderstanding. With regard to subordinates trouble may also be expected and this gives a possibility of a change of fortune and loss of credit.
Eleventh House
Jupiter in 11th House denotes many connections with older people, of great influence, experience and good position in life; who are much in contact with the public. Acquaintances are sought among superiors rather than inferiors, because in that way a more rapid social progress may be expected. Once he has reached a high position, the native willingly exerts his influence to help others on. Therefore he is very fit for a leading position in a big society or institution where young and unskilled people are trained to greater capacity.
Jupiter in 11th, the house of friends emphasizes the ideal of brotherhood in society and also in religion. When afflicted the native should keep his own possessions and those of other people well apart; should never force upon another what his own mind takes to be true, and never take away from another what is of value to that person. For these things tend to estrange rather than to reconcile; only love and tact can in the end lead to the goal.
Twelfth House
Jupiter in 12th House. When Jupiter in the 12th house is harmoniously aspected at birth confidence that everything will come right will enable the native to surmount the troubles which may arise. This position promises much from social work connected with hospitals and institutions for nervous disorders. He should be warned not to be upset by possible lack of cooperation and appreciation. Fortunately, Jupiter’s confidence helps him greatly, but it would be more of a support if the native were to reason logically about it, because Jupiter’s ideas are not always founded on practical insight.
