Chakraduceus – Canvas Art Print

Tall aligned chakra consciousness in time, balance your flowering energy to make yourself fly! Swirling vortexes of colorful creation will manifest the divine. Rooting from genetic influence, the groundwork that is found, open up your centers into the higher crown.

This was a piece I decided to create after going through an almost 5-year long depression. Then having sketched the outlines of the chakras & painting the background black, I placed different colored crystals over each energy center & turned on some nice yoga chanting music to listen to. Using some chakra chimes over the piece I made some ringing sounds, ready to paint a starry space scene using regal purples & blues.

As I heard a knock at the door, my religious stepmom asked me “what was going on in here? It sounds spiritually dark in here, I don’t like what’s going on right now.” Well, I am doing something spiritual I said & showed her the painting with the crystals on the ground. She said “Oh my God! It’s a Satanic altar!!!” I laughed & told her no it isn’t as she responded with “No, I want you to get this thing out of the house right now!” I replied with “no, I just went through a long depression, I’m finally happy & I’m going to paint this piece”.

She then told me “Just try me right now!” So I decided to grab my brush & paint, that’s when she picked up the painting off the ground as all the crystals flew up into the air! So I got up & grabbed the art out of her hands & said “No! This is my painting get your hands off it! give me a hug, let’s work this out.” She then pushed me away & said, “No, don’t touch me!” That’s the moment when my Dad walked into the room & asked, “what’s going on?” Explaining the issue, he replied, “I’m calling the cops!” Responding with “this is ridiculous” and then calling my brother who came & picked me up an hour later, he let me stay with him for a while.

Not touching the piece for over an entire year, I finally finished it around September of 2017. I was waiting for a good time to continue the chakra piece after the whole fiasco. On Halloween night I was out on Mill Ave in Tempe selling my artwork when near the end of the night I had turned my head and someone stole the piece from me.
