Thursday Papago Jam – Yoga & More Community Event Organizing Group

This group is for organizing/sharing/discussing/etc. Thursday jam activities, with *limited* advertising – (post all you want on the page https://www.facebook.com/ThursdayPapagoJam/ or the many other local community groups which are now being used in that way).

Standard event description:
FREE YOGA, ACROYOGA, MEDITATION, SLACKLINING, DRUM CIRCLE, FLOW ARTS and MORE! Thursday Papago Flow Jam!
Location: Papago Park (near the dog park and playground at 970 N College Ave Tempe AZ)
Make sure to invite all your friends! This is an inclusive family-friendly community event. 🙂
Do bring ANYTHING to help co-create this event! Artists, musicians, dancers, etc. are all welcome! Potluck items are also encouraged 🙂
Everything is free! All you need to do is show up! Bring your yoga mats, juggling props, hoops, poi, all the flow arts, drums and acoustic instruments, BLANKETS (tends to get chilly sometimes 🙂 etc, no fire please.

“Schedule” of Events:
7pm Guided Meditation // Yoga Flow (all levels) or Acroyoga – see discussion (this event page is recycled every week)
8pm-whenever, all the flows jam = Acro Yoga + Slacklining + Hooping + Socializing + MORE
8pm – 9ish DJ Music or full moon drum circle

After DJ finishes – drum circle and acoustic jam and DRUM CIRCLE (bring instruments and blankets)
Typically we’re at Papago park between 7-10p. Everyone is free to explore activities that participants may bring like slack line, hooping, yoga, juggling, music, and more. Bring your talents and passions to share, and openness to explore and learn new things.
