Both books are titled Mudras: The Sacred Secret and Mudras for Healing and Transformation, respectively. The findings of such research warrant further examination by the yoga and medical communities using the scientific method to look for theoretical justifications for how Mudra "function." This article aims to start a discussion while offering justifications and tips on how to include Mudras into yoga in a sensible, secure way going forward.<br />What is published About Mudras?<br />In April 2014, a study of the literature revealed that there were no peer-reviewed studies that specifically examined Mudras as a phenomenon or a treatment variable. Here we have a mudra specially designed for insomnia which is called Shakti Mudra or Shakti Chalana Mudra <br />Now, let us start with the meaning of Shakti Mudra which is also called Shakti Chalana Mudra. It is actually a hand gesture in yoga that is targeted to reduce your sleeping disorders. Actually, Shakti mudra targets to improve and enhance your mental and physical well-being. Shakti is actually another name of Goddess Durga who resembles strength and power. So, this hand shakti mudra also targets to enhance your inner strength and power so that you can get stability in life in the long run.<br /><br />After discussing all Shakti mudra meaning and its significance, time to discuss how to do it.<br /><br />Sit in a comfortable of half lotus position. While the practice of yoga means asanas and breathing practices to many, there is a lesser known, subtler, ancient and an independent branch of yoga: Mudras.<br /><br />Based on the principle of Ayurveda, yoga mudras are understood as a method to heal. The Sanskrit word mudra is translated as gestures. Mudras usually involve simple hand positions. Mudras used in combination with yogic breathing exercises, enliven the flow of prana (Energy) in the body, thereby energizing different parts of the body.<br /><br />Diseases are caused due to an imbalance in the body, which in turn is caused by lack or excess of any of the five elements.<br />Our fingers have the characteristics of these elements, and each of these five elements serves a specific and important function within the body. The fingers are essentially electrical circuits. There is much more to yoga than meets the eye. While the practice of yoga means asanas and breathing practices to many, there is a lesser known, subtler, ancient and an independent branch of yoga: Mudras.

Based on the principle of Ayurveda, yoga mudras are understood as a method to heal. The Sanskrit word mudra is translated as gestures. Mudras usually involve simple hand positions. Mudras used in combination with yogic breathing exercises, enliven the flow of prana (Energy) in the body, thereby energizing different parts of the body.

Diseases are caused due to an imbalance in the body, which in turn is caused by lack or excess of any of the five elements.
Our fingers have the characteristics of these elements, and each of these five elements serves a specific and important function within the body. The fingers are essentially electrical circuits.
