#30FOR30CHALLENGE #HowToKeepAJournal #Journaling
Clearly we're a fan of journals on this channel. In this video, guys, we're going over the three journal questions you must ask.
Refusers welcome back to another video. My name is Clark and I help people refuse to settle. You're
talking about the number one tool you can use to transform your life, achieve your goals, and stay
motivated. You guys like the journaling series at any point in time, comment down below with a big
takeaway, a question, something you want to see in the future, love interacting with you and smash the
heck out of that light button, baby. Hey listen. You know a lot of the common ways that people journal, I
am not a fan of and that's why we create this series. You know, on this channel we do it a little
differently. What's the problem with how most people journal when you think about it and when you
think of journaling, most people think of a diary, like the stream of consciousness, right?
With the diary most people are going to write about their problems and so what do they do? They ask a terrible
question. They say something like, you know, why does this always happen to me? Why can I never get a
job? Why can't I make money online? Why can I never find a soulmate? What is the answer they're
writing about for 45 minutes? All about why they can't. They're like a victim. They're trapped in that
thought loop. So if you really want good use of your time, you want to grow, you want to do something
new in your future. So it's not just a repetitive past. You need to ask better questions. I'm obsessed with
this. Thinking is literally just asking the answering questions all day. It's estimated you have 60,000
thoughts a day, like 80 of them, 80% of them are the same as the day before and negative.
So that's why questions are so powerful. And if you do it in a journal, this place, man, this can be one of
the most transformative experiences you have. It was for me, it is for me. It's the number one tool. We
have tons of videos on that. If you do it wrong though and you don't ask questions like we'll give you in
this video that you can do and walk away from. I mean, you're doing a lot more harm than good. And
like, you know, this can become something that makes you kind of go a little loopy. So that's why I want
to give you these three questions. Now, question number three, you ever noticed that it's easy to give
advice, but it's sometimes hard to follow it, right? Does this happen to you? I'm sure maybe it doesn't
happen to you. I don't know.
Maybe you've never given someone weight loss advice that you haven't take, right or took it. Maybe
you've never given someone self-development advice. You haven't took yourself relationship advice,
right? But what happens when a friend comes to you and they're like, man, you know, you're like, how's
it going on? You know, it's pretty good. I really just don't like my job. You're like, well, okay, what's
wrong with it? Ah, you know, there's just the coworkers, there's Becky, she's just crazy. And you're like,
yeah, Becky, classic Becky, right? Am I right? And so they keep complaining about their situation. They're
like, well, why don't you get a different job? Why don't you submit resumes somewhere else? Why don't
you do this, this, this, and your job on about these possibilities they can do? And you're like, why don't
you do it? I'm giving you all the answers.
Just go it. So it's really easy to give someone advice, right? But it's hard to take it. And so we have a hard
time. The point of this, it's really hard to be objective with yourself. Okay? And that's why I love
journaling is that you can be, if you have the right questions. So what you need to do is instead of going
to your journal and giving yourself advice and trying to be like, ah, what advice should I take? Blah, blah,
blah. No, you ask this question number three, what advice would I give someone else in my exact same
situation? All right, what advice would you give someone else in your exact same situation? See, what this does is you become the observed, not the personal. No. You become....
